On March 28, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre, First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin took part in the opening of the fourth Tatarstan International Automotive Forum “TIAF supported by Automechanika”.
On behalf of the regional leadership, Nigmatullin welcomed all participants of the forum and the specialized exhibition. He emphasized that the forum is held jointly with the Association of European Business. "This allows us to join our efforts to bring together Russian and foreign investors, manufacturers, suppliers at one venue. The forum is an opportunity to take a comprehensive look at the prospects for the development of the automotive industry in the region and in Russia,” the official said.
The fourth Tatarstan International Automotive Forum (TIAF) is the largest event for the industry of automotive components of the republic and the Volga region.
The TIAF project is implemented as part of the concept of the main exhibition brand in the field of automotive parts, components and equipment for car service "Automechanika". It aims to promote the development of automotive industry and localization of plants for production of automotive components in the regions, attract innovations to the automotive industry, and expand cooperation between Russian automotive components suppliers and leading domestic and foreign automakers.
The exhibition held as part of the forum is one of the key elements of the project to present the long-term strategy of enterprises in the field of localization of automotive components and the best samples of products of Russian and Chinese manufacturers.
More than 100 suppliers and manufacturers from Russia, Turkey and China are taking part in the exhibition.
