Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan attaches great significance to developing cooperation with partners from Latin America and the Caribbean

On April 13, at the Kazan Kremlin, at his meeting with the Ambassadors of countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Cuba, Paraguay) to the Russian Federation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the diplomats for the interest in establishing interaction with the Republic of Tatarstan. “I hope that during the trip you will get acquainted with the economic, investment, scientific, educational, cultural, sports and tourist potential of Tatarstan, one of the leading and industrialized regions of the Russian Federation”, he said. “Tatarstan attaches great significance to developing cooperation with partners from Latin America and the Caribbean aimed at strengthening the relations of our states”, Minnikhanov emphasized.

Minnikhanov noted that goods of Tatarstan enterprises are well-known at the market of Latin America and the Caribbean, in particular, helicopters manufactured at the Kazan Helicopter Plant and trucks produced at KAMAZ Automaker.

A number of Latin America countries are interacting with Tatarstan in the field of petrochemistry, pharmaceutical, culture, sports and tourism.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay in Russia, Ramon Antero Diaz Pereira thanked Minnikhanov on behalf of all diplomats for the opportunity to visit Tatarstan.
