Rustam Minnikhanov meets delegation of the Emirate of Dubai

On May 8, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met the member of the ruling family of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Juma Al Maktoum.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Trade and Economic Representative of Tatarstan in Dubai Timur Khairutdinov, representatives of ministries and departments, major oil and energy companies of the republic  took part in the meeting. Minnikhanov thanked the Sheikh for his interest in the industrial, economic and investment potential of the republic.

He emphasized that Tatarstan attaches great importance to developing cooperation with the United Arab Emirates as part of the Russia-Emirates relations.

Minnikhanov added that much attention is now paid to cooperation with the Islamic world. “On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, I chair the Strategic Vision Group for Russia and the Islamic World. We find different forms of interaction with our partners from countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,” Tatarstan President said.

The 10th International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit", which is the efficient venue of economic interaction of the Russian Federation and countries of the Islamic world, starts in Kazan on May 10.
