Dear residents of Tatarstan!
Dear compatriots!
From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on the end of the fasting month and the blessed holiday of Eid al-Fitr!
Every time on this blessed day, preparing for a festive prayer, Muslims turn to the Almighty with words of gratitude for his great mercies, heartily praying to Allah for peace and salvation. The highest reward for moral and physical cleansing during the holy month of Ramadan, sincere faith, good thoughts and merciful deeds is forgiveness of sins and spiritual development.
In our multinational republic, the celebration of Eid al-Fitr has age-old roots, closely intertwined with the ancient cultural, family and everyday traditions of the Tatar people. Christians and representatives of other religions invariably turn to Muslims with good congratulations and good wishes, strengthening us in our single desire for the good and well-being of our native Tatarstan.
There are especially solemn and strong calls for unity, prudence and sympathy in the mosques of Kazan, the Ancient Bolgar and other cities and villages of our republic. It has become a good tradition to hold crowded iftar, children's holidays, charity and cultural and educational events. It is gratifying that every year more and more Tatarstan people and our compatriots take part in them.
May Eid al-Fitr once again give you the joy of spiritual interaction with the Almighty, filling the hearts of believers with light and their homes with peace!
I sincerely wish you and your relatives happiness, peace, well-being and prosperity!
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
