Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in China
On June 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in the People’s Republic of China to take part in the 6th China-Russia Expo 2019, held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.
Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Regional Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova, Minister of Youth Affairs of the republic Damir Fattakhov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Head of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov and other officials arrived as members of Tatarstan delegation.
At their meeting, scheduled in the morning, Minnikhanov and Governor of Heilongjiang Province Wang Wentao intend to sign a Road Map to the Agreement between Tatarstan Government and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. The leaders will take part in the Tatarstan-Heilongjiang Business Forum, at which the economic and investment potential of the two regions will be introduced.
Later on the same day, Minnikhanov plans to visit the Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center, where he will get acquainted with the exposition of the 6th China-Russia Expo 2019 and hold a number of business meetings.
During his working visit to Heilongjiang Province, Minnikhanov also plans to visit the Harbin science and technology Corner Company and get acquainted with the activities of Wondersun diary, Heilongjiang Dairy Production Company.
At the end of the working visit to China, Tatarstan President intends to meet Secretary of Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China Zhang Qingwei and attend a concert of Tatarstan art masters organized at the Expo 2019.
