On August 28, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior managers of WorldSkills International summed up the results of the joint work on preparation and holding the 45th WorldSkills Competition held on August 22-27, 2019 in Kazan.
Minnikhanov thanked senior managers of the world movement for their attention and support during preparation and holding of the Competition in Kazan.
According to him, the WorldSkills movement and the 45th Competition pass on a significant legacy in Russia, but the most important thing is that it draws serious attention of young people to working professions and contributes to the promotion of professional skills. Minnikhanov also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who attended the closing ceremony of the event on August 27, also praised the Competition.
Minnikhanov handed over the letter of gratitude to the senior managers of the movement for the great contribution to preparation and holding of the WorldSkills Competition in Kazan in 2019.
The meeting also discussed issues of further cooperation on the development of professional education and promotion and preparation of the European Championship in St. Petersburg in 2022.
