Tatarstan President meets Chairman of the UAE General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments
On September 18, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the UAE General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Matar Salem bin Abid Al Kaabi discussed various areas of cooperation and exchange of experience between religious organizations of Tatarstan and the UAE.
As part of his visit to the republic, Mohammed Matar Salem bin Abid Al Kaabi will visit the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of the republic, the Galeev Mosque, the Russian Islamic Institute and the Rehabilitation Centre at the Yardem Mosque, as well as meet representatives of the Kazan Diocesan Administration and the Bolgar Islamic Academy.
Deputy Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Aleksandr Terentyev, Trade and Economic Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Dubai Timur Khairutdinov and Rector of the Russian Islamic Institute Rafik Mukhametshin took part in the meeting.
