Rustam Minnikhanov at the My Business forum: The support of entrepreneurship is a matter of high priority for Tatarstan
On October 24, at the Tatneft Arena Ice Palace in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment Policy and Entrepreneurship Development Department at the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Milena Arslanova, Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev, Rector of Synergy Business School Grigory Avetov and about 9,000 entrepreneurs took part in the largest My Business forum.
Speaking at the event, Minnikhanov thanked the organizers of the My Business forum for their attention to issues of developing entrepreneurial activity. Tatarstan President also noted measures of support provided to businessmen of the republic by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
“The support of entrepreneurship is a matter of high priority for Tatarstan. We are trying to change the attitude of the authorities towards business. Issues of developing the entrepreneurship in the regions of Tatarstan are considered at regional meetings weekly. Extended meetings with the regional business are held every three months. E-commerce systems, which are new markets that are very important to us, are improving,” Tatarstan President said.
Minnikhanov appreciated such forums, contributing to the promotion of entrepreneurship. “We need to communicate more, to show positive examples, and to mention segments of the economy in which entrepreneurs would be useful. Each project is very important to us,” he added.
