Rustam Minnikhanov meets members of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for Health

On October 26, at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with members of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for Health.

The delegation of the Committee led by its Chairman Dmitry Morozov arrived on a working visit in Kazan.

During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of the improvement of the organization of primary health care, organization of work with the population and other pressing issues.

Morozov said that a public discussion on the improvement of the organization of primary health care in the Volga Federal District is being held under the Healthy Future project of the All-Russian political party "United Russia". He is a coordinator of the Healthy Future project.

People’s Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Boris Mendelevich, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva, Tatarstan Minister of Health Marat Sadykov and other officials took part in the meeting.

During their visit, members of the Committee visited an outpatient centre in the village of Peschanye Kovali of Laishevo region of the republic.

The people’s deputies got acquainted with the work of the Mobile Polyclinic complex and the implementation of the Tatarstan Single Cardiologist programme. They were also informed about the Healthy School preventive campaigns and other development in regional health care.
