On December 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who arrived on a working visit in Naberezhnye Chelny, was met by Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials at the Begishevo International Airport.
Upon his arrival, the Russian leader headed for the KAMAZ cab frame plant, which is the most modern and largest facility built at KAMAZ automobile plant recently.
It is expected that Putin will be demonstrated the KAMAZ engine plant, one of the largest manufacturers of engines and power units in the country. The President of Russia will get acquainted with the new P6 six-cylinder inline engine developed by the Automaker.
An exhibition of products manufactured by KAMAZ, including heavy trucks, buses and other equipment, was also organized for Putin.
Later on the same day, a meeting to mark the 50th anniversary of the automobile plant will be held with the participation of Putin.
