Rustam Minnikhanov meets Mayor of Izmir city (Turkey) Tunç Soyer
On December 16, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Mayor of Izmir city (the Republic of Turkey) Tunç Soyer, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the opening ceremony of the Bridges of Culture Exhibition by Tatarstan artist Raif Tukhvatullin and Turkish artist Zeka Serbest (Izmir).
During his working visit, Soyer will meet Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, will get acquainted with the economic and investment potential of Tatarstan at Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and will also meet the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan Ismet Erikan.
Minnikhanov thanked Soyer for his visit to Tatarstan and expressed confidence that the Tatarstan-Turkish business contacts will be strengthened, helping the implementation of new joint projects, including with Izmir business partners.
Tatarstan President also said that he had previously visited Izmir in 2015 and 2017.
