Rustam Minnikhanov at his meeting with business partners of Tatarstan: We are proud of your success
On December 18, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary meeting of the 14th Business Partners of Tatarstan Forum.
Kazan will host the forum on December 17-20. Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatars Congress Vasil Shaykhraziev said that 600 delegates from 63 Russian regions, 29 countries of near and far abroad are taking part in the event.
Before the event, Minnikhanov visited the exhibition of agricultural products organized by the forum participants in one of the halls of the complex.
During the plenary session, entrepreneurs from different regions of Russia and foreign countries told the forum about the life of local Tatar communities, the implementation of business projects by Tatar entrepreneurs, and business interaction with partners from Tatarstan.
Minnikhanov thanked the forum participants for their visit to Tatarstan and close cooperation with the republic. “I am very pleased to meet you. We are proud of your success. You are our support. Thanks to such concerned people, we are able to preserve our national traditions, culture and language far beyond the borders of Tatarstan,” Tatarstan President said.
He noted that much work is underway to consolidate the Tatar people, with the World Tatars Congress playing an important role in this matter. “During our visits to other regions of Russia and abroad, we always try to meet our compatriots. We discuss urgent topics, try to provide support in certain issues. It is very important to maintain our contacts and to develop business ties,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
He briefed about the results of the year. In particular, he said that the implementation of 40 regional projects, most of which are aimed at rural development, is being completed. The republic maintains the pace of economic growth. Last week, the Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Kazan for the fourth time in a year. The state leader took part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of KAMAZ Automobile Plant. “This shows a strong interest of the country's leadership in our republic,” Minnikhanov went on to say.
“I want to note that you are not guests here. Tatarstan is your home. We are always glad to see you here. I hope that we will continue our close cooperation,” Tatarstan President added.
At the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov handed in a number of state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan.
