Rustam Minnikhanov appoints a new representative of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan

On January 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov appointed Aidar Akhtareev, who headed the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, a new representative of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan for 3 years.
Earlier Minnikhanov relieved Ramil Shakirov from the post of the representative of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan due to the expiration of his service contract and retirement. Shakirov has held this post since 2006.
