On April 14, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Russian Presidential Commissioner for Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights Boris Titov held a regular videoconference with the business community of the republic.
Minnikhanov emphasized that today the country's leadership is taking all the necessary measures to support business. These include cancellation of inspections, tax and credit deferrals, the possibility of obtaining a loan at 0 per cent per annum to pay salaries and a number of others.
Minnikhanov said that today regional support measures, in particular, subsidies, tax breaks are being developed. As federal support measures are implemented, its regional components will be implemented too.
Representatives of the service sector asked to consider the possibility of opening hairdressers. Entrepreneurs introduced an online system that helps to monitor compliance with sanitary and epidemiological regulations during the work. Minnikhanov instructed First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin and Head of the regional department of Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare Marina Patyashina to study this issue.
During the online meeting, Tatarstan President appealed to Titov with a proposal to support with subsidies for temporary employment the most affected sectors. This would save the teams. “People need to be saved. The most valuable thing is people! Today, in order to receive payments, a person should resign and register at a special resource. Is it possible to provide subsidies to the most affected sectors? It is very important to keep workforces,” Tatarstan President addressed.
Titov emphasized that this issue will be considered.
