Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with production of antiseptics at the TANECO Complex
On April 17, during his working visit to Nizhnekamsk region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the venue for the production of antiseptics at the Taneko Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. The manufacturing of antiseptic solution was launched in a short time frame. The efficiency of the venue reaches 7.5 tonnes per day. Products are packaged in plastic cans of 10 and 20 litres.
Tatarstan President was informed that the antiseptic solution is manufactured conforming to the requirements of the World Health Organization. Its main component is isopropyl alcohol. Tatneft Oil Company plans to supply products manufactured at the Taneko to its own enterprises and social services.
Director General of the Tatneft Nail Maganov said that the company will donate the first volumes of antiseptics to the volunteers of the regional movement “Help is near!”.
The Tatneft also launched a robotic mask production complex brought from China, deployed at the venue of Tatneft Active Company, a subsidiary of the Tatneft in Aznakayevo. The robotic complex can produce 3.5 million masks per month. The Aznakai Kiemnere garment manufacturer launched the production of protective suits and overalls for medical staff and emergency services in the region. Up to 600 sets are produced daily. The company intends to increase production volumes.
In online mode, Minnikhanov connected to Elastic factory, which is engaged in manufacturing of non-woven materials. “Today protective masks and suits are vitally important attributes for our country that are needed not only by medical staff, but also by all citizens. We are cooperating with Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in order to obtain federal support measures to further expand the production of these materials. Today we are establishing a certain cluster that will provide our country with medical protective equipment. Your product is extremely necessary,” Tatarstan President emphasized.
