Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva
On August 29, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva discussed issues of further cooperation.
Balaeva arrived on a short-term working visit in Kazan to take part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tatar ASSR and the Day of Tatarstan and to attend the exhibition dedicated to the same event.
During the meeting, Minnikhanov thanked the Minister of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan for her attention to the republic for the visit to Kazan. He said that in the last few years the agenda of Tatarstan-Kazakhstan interaction has been very fruitful. In 2018, Kazan hosted the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
