Tatarstan President and Director General of Haier Industry Rus discuss further development of production facilities in the republic
On October 14, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Haier Industry Rus Sun Zhenhua discussed further development of Haier production facilities in Tatarstan.
To date, a plant for the production of refrigerators, a plant for the production of washing machines and the first plant for the production of televisions have been built and put into operation in Naberezhnye Chelny. In the second quarter of 2021, the construction of the second plant for the production of smart TVs and a warehouse for finished products will be completed.
At today’s meeting, Haier Industry Rus and the Alabuga Special Economic Zone singed a memorandum on the localization of the plant for the production of component parts and microelectronics for the needs of the Haier company in the zone.
