Rustam Minnikhanov holds a working meeting on the organization of the FINA World Swimming Championships 2025 in Kazan
On December 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held an online working meeting on the organization of the FINA World Swimming Championships 2025 in Kazan.
The meeting discussed a number of organizational issues related to the preparation of sports facilities, the accommodation of athletes and representatives of delegations, ensuring the safety of participants of the championships and other matters.
The FINA World Swimming Championships will be held in Kazan for the second time. For the first time, the capital of the republic hosted the competition in 2015.
Minister of Sports of Russia Oleg Matytsin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Executive Director of the International Swimming Federation Cornel Marculescu, Minister of Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov and other officials took part in the meeting.
