Rustam Minnikhanov has an online meeting with senior executives of the Complant Chinese Company

On February 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had an online meeting with senior executives of the Complant Chinese Company.

Complant is a large Chinese corporation known for its contracting projects in different countries in such areas as transport, electricity, ecology, metallurgy, various types of industry and other spheres. 

Minnikhanov stressed that the republic attaches great importance to expanding ties with China, which are aimed at strengthening Russian-Chinese relations.

“Tatarstan is actively cooperating with partners from China. Our contacts have become particularly intensive recently. A number of joint economic projects are underway in the republic with such large companies as Haier, Weichai, Huawei, DiDi, Sichuan Golden Elephant and others,” the President emphasized.

Minnikhanov noted that the republic is interested in developing cooperation with Complant, including in the field of ecology. One of the promising projects is the recovery of the Volga basin. The plans also include the interaction in the field of construction, processing of solid waste and power generation, work in the field of sludge, wastewater treatment. “These issues are very urgent for us. We are ready to cooperate in all these areas,” Tatarstan President added.

Deputy Prime Minister - Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov, heads of Tatarstan ministries and departments took part in the meeting.
