A number of important economic agreements signed in Kazakhstan in the presence of Rustam Minnikhanov and Askar Mamin

On April 5, during a working visit of Tatarstan delegation to the city of Saran (Kazakhstan), a ceremony of signing of a number of economic agreements with participation of Kazakhstan Prime Minister Askar Mamin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took place.

Tatneft Oil Company together with Kazakh partners plans to produce rubber in Kazakhstan. A relevant agreement was signed with KazMunayGaz national company. The plant’s capacity will amount to 186,000 tonnes of butadiene rubber and 170,000 tonnes of isobutane. The plant is expected to be launched by 2025 and will employ 400 people.

Minnikhanov emphasized that Kazakhstan possesses the most valuable raw materials for rubber production, and therefore it is necessary to work closely together in this direction. Today, a memorandum of intent on the construction of a bitumen production plant was signed.
