Tatarstan President meets Head of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia Albir Krganov

On June 10, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia, Chairman of Muslim Spiritual Board of Moscow and Central region “Moscow muftiyat” Albir Krganov discussed the issues of interaction in strengthening inter-ethnic and inter-religious harmony, the development of Islamic education and preparations for the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria in 2022.

At the meeting, Krganov handed in to Minnikhanov the atlas of the Muslim community of Russia. Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov and Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin took part in the meeting.
