Rustam Minnikhanov meets the leadership of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Kazan

On September 1, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the leadership of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Kazan.

The new Consul General of Kazakhstan in Kazan Erlan Iskakov was introduced to Tatarstan President.

Minnikhanov wished him success in his new responsible post.

Iskakov will succeed Zhanbolat Murzalin, who has headed the Consulate General since 2019. Minnikhanov thanked Murzalin for his great contribution to strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan, and also handed in a medal of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
