Tatars from Baku, London and Berlin will run online at the Kazan National Half Marathon
Tatars living outside of Tatarstan and Russia will take part in the Kazan National Half Marathon online. Their photos and videos will be broadcast on October 10 at the Ak Bars Arena media facade.
The organizers of the Timerman competition together with the World Congress of Tatars sent invitations to participate in the race to 19 branches of the organization. Participants from Baku, London, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Minsk and residents of Russia have already registered — they will run through the streets of their cities in skullcaps one of the distances: 3, 10 or 21.1 km. To fix the results, they will need to send a selfie from a jog and a screenshot from the tracker.
The opportunity to run at the Kazan National Half Marathon online appeared this year for the first time. The new format was developed in connection with the epidemiological situation, which does not allow many compatriots to join the event offline.
Registration for the online race, as well as offline, which will be held in Kazan on October 10, continues on the website http://ethnorun.org /. As part of the national half marathon, the 6th mass race in skullcaps, a national exhibition, a "Chuck-chuck Party" and a running tour of the city will be held.
