Tatarstan President: There is some progress in the implementation of our joint projects with Uzbekistan
On January 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had an online meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov. Minnikhanov thanked the leadership of Uzbekistan for supporting the development of cooperation with Tatarstan under friendly Russian-Uzbek relations.
Umurzakov emphasized that Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Tatarstan. “For us, Tatarstan holds a special place in the interaction and partnership with the Russian Federation,” Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan said. “I would also like to convey to you, on behalf of the respected Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, fraternal, warmest wishes and greetings,” Umurzakov added.
Uzbekistan Minister emphasized that a bilateral business forum with the participation of business circles of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan is scheduled at the industrial park «Himgrad Uzbekistan» in Chirchik. Uzbekistan President also plans to take part in the event.
Then, the meeting participants discussed the implementation of joint investment projects and the scheduled time for their implementation, as well as cooperation in other areas.
