On January 28, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior representatives of Bertsch Holding Company (Austria) discussed issues of cooperation in the implementation of agricultural, livestock processing and energy projects.
The President and the owner of the Bertsch Holding Hubert Bertsch briefed about the business that is known as family business and dates back to 1925. Today the company has 400 employees, 20 offices and representative offices and one operating plant.
Speaking about the experience in the energy sector, he emphasized that the company produces thermal power plants working on solid and liquid fuel and natural gas, technological processes heat recovery systems and machines. In the food industry, the Bertsch manufactures and supplies meat and sausage production equipment, milk-processing equipment and cheese production equipment.
Minnikhanov thanked the company representatives for their interest in the republic. He said that Tatarstan enterprises are also interested in cooperation with the holding in the processing of livestock products, especially dairy ones. Today Tatarstan is one of the major milk producers in the country, Minnikhanov said. He emphasized that the dairy and cheese industries of the republic are already cooperating with the Bertsch Holding.
In his turn, Bertsch also said that over the past 15 years, the company has built and modernized 18 cheese plants in Russia.
At the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov expressed confidence that today’s meeting will give impetus to the further development of relations.
