Rustam Minnikhanov and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow have discussed development of Tatarstan-Turkmenistan relations by phone

On 22 February, speaking by phone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow discussed successful interaction of such Tatarstan enterprises as the Tatneft Oil Company, the KAMAZ Automaker, the Kazan Helicopter Plant and KER-Holding and agreed to continue joint work in further strengthening of Tatarstan-Turkmenistan economic and cultural ties.

During the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow highly assessed the contribution of Tatarstan into the development of strategic partnership of Russia and Turkmenistan, underlined historical and cultural ties between their people and stressed successful development of trade-economic, investment and cultural relations between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to Turkmenistan President for his personal attention to development of the cooperation and support of joint projects.
