Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum Taha Ayhan
On 22 February in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum Taha Ayhan.
Kazan has been declared the 2022 Youth Capital of the OIC and the participants of the meeting discussed the plan of events to be held in Kazan including the global youth summit with participation of Ministers of Youth Affairs of OIC member-countries, the international youth Muslim culture festival, international horse races and a number of other events.
Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov said: “I am sure the global events to be held under these auspices will give new possibilities for self-realization of our youth and will make it possible to get the Islamic world acquainted with Tatarstan and Kazan with all its cultural and national diversity”.
