Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of the Board of Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association, Chairman of the Board of E-mak Company Selim Emre Gencer
On March 25, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Board of Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association, Chairman of the Board of E-mak Company Selim Emre Gencer discussed the issues of implementation of joint projects, steps for further cooperation in the current economic conditions.
Minnikhanov emphasized that today business relations with Turkish enterprises have been established, as well as cooperation between Tatarstan as a region of Russia and the Turkish Republic in general. He said that last year the volume of trade between Tatarstan and Turkey increased by one and a half times. In addition, Turkish investors are investing in the republic’s economy. “We would like to continue cooperation and the Republic of Turkey is one of the reliable partners of both the region and Russia as a whole. Currently, there are a number of projects with the participation of Turkish investors, which can be implemented,” Tatarstan President said.
Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Minister of Transport and Roads of the republic Farit Khanifov took part in the meeting from Tatarstan.
