Tatarstan President has discussed cooperation issues with the Ambassador of Sierra-Leone to Russia Mohamed Yongawo
On 23 May at his meeting with the Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Russia Mohamed Yongawo in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic highly appreciates possibility of developing cooperation with Sierra Leone within friendly Russian-Sierra Leonean relations.
“Africa is a unique region for us. Relations of Russia with African countries have always been warm and developed constructively”, he said.
“Today the level of trade and economic interaction of Tatarstan with Sierra Leone is rather low. At the same time the MI helicopters manufactured in Kazan and Tatarstan KAMAZ trucks, which have won the Dakar rally many times, as well known in the African market,“ Minnikhanov said.
The parties also discussed issues of developing trade and economic cooperation including the oil production sphere.
