Rustam Minnikhanov at a reception in honor of the best families of Tatarstan: You are an example of responsible parenthood and a strong family
Opening a yearly ceremonial reception in the Kazan Kremlin dedicated to the best families of Tatarstan and organized on behalf of President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and his wife Gulsina on 24 August on the eve of the Day of the Republic, Tatarstan President reminded that today there are 48 families of teachers, doctors and farmers, that is representatives of various branches of economy.
“By your everyday creative work you praise your native Tatarstan helping it to take leading positions in the country in main indexes of social and economic development”, he said.
Paying special tribute to parents of the Hero of Russia Damir Gilemkhanov, who was awarded posthumously, and Rail Gabdrakhmanov and Ivan Dodosov, who are currently serving their military duty, Minnikhanov said: “You have brought up your sons to become real patriots and courageous defenders of the Fatherland. Please, take sincere gratitude on behalf of all Tatarstan residents.”
Most of guests of the reception are families with many children and addressing them, Tatarstan President said” You are an example of responsible parenthood and a strong family and it is in the family that children learn everything”.

From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you with our coming main state holiday – the Day of the Republic” Minnikhanov concluded and handed in medals of the Parent’s Valour to three families who are raising from 8 to10 children

The medal of the Parent’s Valour was established in Tatarstan in 2022 and is awarded to families raising seven and more children.
