The 18th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival to be held from 7 to 11 September
On September 6, at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova, Head of the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of Kazan Azat Abzalov, Director of Tatarkino State Institution of Culture and Executive Director of the Festival Milyausha Aytuganova spoke on the programme of the 18th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.
The speakers informed about the main events of the 18th Film Festival, the parallel programme, invited guests and innovations of 2022. The full list of screenings and events is available on the project website. During five days, an extensive and fruitful programme will take place at nine sites in the city. In addition to competitive and out-of-competition programmes, it is planned to hold master classes, creative meetings with outstanding figures in the film industry, concerts and much more.
“We are waiting for representatives of not only our closest partners such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE, which have been actively participating in the film festival for many years, but also representatives of European countries, namely Germany, France and others,” Ayupova said.
Tatarstan Minister of Culture emphasized that 127 guests from ten countries are planning to visit the forum.
