On 15 September Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working trip to St Petersburg to take part in the XI Petersburg International Gas Forum held on 13-16 September.
The Forum Programme covers all spheres of the branch including gas exploration, production and transportation, utilization and processing. Experts pay special attention to import replacement in the oil and gas sphere.
Accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of the Gasprom Board Vitaliy Markelov, Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the exhibition of technologies, equipment and services displayed in the ExpoForum pavilions. In particular Tatarstan President looked round the exposition of enterprises and universities of the republic, including a new KAMAZ-6250 AWD bus ruck developed by the order from the Gazprom. With the capacity of 32 passengers, the bus can be used as a mobile lab, negotiations offices, medical offices, engineering centers and control units.
Innopolis display consisted of the Advanced Engineering School of the Innopolis University, the AI Institute and the Information Security Center. The IT-university oil and gas center also brought a mobile robotic floating platform for diagnostics of the underwater pipes technical condition.
In the Gasprom pavilion Rustam Minnikhanov and Vitaliy Markelov also viewed the first domestic Mi-171А3 –helicopter designed for transportation of cargo and passengers above the sea. The aircraft with the capacity of 24 passengers can fly up to 1000 kilometers with main fuel tanks and can be used in a wide range of climatic conditions including maritime, tropical and cold climates.
The Almaz Antey stand showed the guests prototypes of two electric vehicles built on the E-NEVA module platform.
Rustam Minnikhanov also took part in a solemn ceremony of signing an agreement between the Tatarstan Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant (Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation) and the Krylovsk State Scientific Center which envisages development of the first innovational ship in Russia with the engine propelled by hydrogen fuel cells.
