Kazan will host the third stage of the Russian Grand Prix Figure Skating Series

From November 4 to 6, Kazan will host the third stage of the "Russian Grand Prix Idel 2022" in figure skating with the participation of the strongest athletes of the national team of the country.

On the ice of the Sports Palace will be "singles": Kamila Valieva, Sofia Muravyeva, Daria Usacheva, Evgeny Semenenko, Andrey Mozalev, Dmitry Aliyev and Artur Danielyan.

Representatives of pair skating: Evgenia Tarasova – Vladimir Morozov, Yasmina Kadyrova – Valery Kolesov.

Dance duets: Annabel Morozova – David Narizhny, Elizaveta Pasechnik – Maxim Nekrasov, Elizaveta Shanaeva – Pavel Drozd and others.

On the eve of the main tournament, from November 2 to 4, a junior tournament will be held – the All-Russian Idel 2022 competition in memory of the Honored Coach of Russia G.S.Tarasov.

Talented athletes of the coaching staffs of Eteri Tutberidze, Alexey Mishin and Evgeny Plushenko, who form the basis of the junior national team, will attract attention here.

The national team of the Republic of Tatarstan will be represented in single skating by young figure skaters Taisiya Korobitsina and Riana Kadyrova and figure skater Kirill Arbuzov.

Zarina Kashapova and Daniil Butashnov will take part in the adult competitions. In pair skating, the region is represented by two-time Olympic silver medalist Evgenia Tarasova paired with Vladimir Morozov.

This season, for the first time in five Russian cities, the Grand Prix stages will be held with the participation of the best Russian figure skaters - Olympic medalists, world and European champions.

The series includes 6 tournaments, the first of which starts in Moscow (October 22-23), the second in Sochi (October 28-31), the third in Kazan (November 4-7), the fourth in Moscow (November 11-14), the fifth in Samara (November 18-21), and the final sixth stage – in Perm (November 25-28).

The series finale will take place in March in Sochi.
