Rustam Minnikhanov meets Director General of the Emirates Schools Establishment Mohamed Al Qassim

On June 8, on the sidelines of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future” held at the Bashir Rameev IT park, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Director General of the Emirates Schools Establishment Mohamed Al Qassim.

Welcoming the guest, Minnikhanov asked to convey great gratitude to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates for their attention to the development of cooperation with Tatarstan under the Russian-Emirati relations. “Russia and the UAE are expanding relations in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres,” Minnikhanov emphasized.

The Rais of Tatarstan said that the UAE delegation regularly takes part in the events of the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum".

“The UAE is one of the most attractive partners for developing ties, including those in education,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He focused on the WorldSkills movement in more detail, noting that in 2017, when the World Skills Championship took place in Abu Dhabi, Tatarstan had the opportunity to study the experience of colleagues from the UAE and apply it, including for the organization of the WorldSkills World Championship in Kazan. In turn, Mohamed Al Qassim noted the high level of organization of the International Forum of Ministers of Education "Shaping the Future" and especially the opportunity to study the experience of Tatarstan in the field of education.
