Address of Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of Kurban-bayram holiday

In his address on the occasion of Kurban-bayram holiday, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Muslims of the republic with Eid al-Adha (Kurban bayram) holiday.

“Kurban bayram is a holiday of good deeds and awakening feelings of empathy to the poor and sick compatriots and respect to parents and the elderly. It always brings people hope into the better future.

In Tatarstan, well known for its traditions of inter-ethnic and inter-religious cooperation, celebrations of Kurban bayram are marked with special emotions and solemnity. This year the holiday is celebrated in the atmosphere of spiritual unification and solidarity with Muslim world countries, numerous representatives of which recently visited Tatarstan during the International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic world: KazanForum 2023” and a meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-Islamic World”..

I am sure that due to active participation of the Tatar Umma in the future we will be able to continue strengthening the status of the republic as a unique platform for development of Islamic cooperation and inter-civilizational dialogue,” Rustam Minnikhanov wrote in his address.

In conclusion he wished Tatarstan residents peace, the good and the help of the All-Mighty in all their good beginnings.
