The final of the Russian Swimming Cup starts in Kazan

From July 25 to July 30, Kazan will be the arena for an exciting competition - the final stage of the Russian Swimming Cup. The strongest swimmers from various regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus will come together in the pool of the Palace of Water Sports to compete for the main trophy – the crystal cup.

More than 600 athletes from various regions are expected to participate, among which the brightest stars of the Russian swimming team will be represented, such as Kliment Kolesnikov, Evgeny Rylov, Martin Malyutin, Ivan Girev, Mikhail Dovgalyuk, Kirill Prigoda, Vladislav Grinev, Evgenia Chikunova, Alexander Shchegolev, Andrey Minakov, Ilya Borodin, Maxim Stupin, Maria Kameneva, Svetlana Chimrova, Arina Surkova, Anna Egorova and others.

In addition to the prestigious title of winners and prize-winners, the participants of the Cup of Russia will have the opportunity to compete for generous cash prizes. The Organizing Committee decided to award athletes who showed a result in the final swim equal to or greater than the result of the winner of the World Aquatics Championships, which took place from July 23 to 30, 2023 in Fukuoka, Japan at the same distance. A cash prize of 1,000,000 rubles will be given to those athletes who will be able to show outstanding skills in the heats. The final heats of the Russian Cup will be available to a wide audience. Broadcasts of the event will be presented on the Match TV channel and in the official group of the All-Russian Swimming Federation on the Vkontakte platform, so that swimming fans can enjoy exciting moments of the competition.

July 25 at 9:00 – Start of preliminary heats;

July 25 at 17:45 – The opening ceremony of the competition;

July 25 at 18:00 – The start of the final heats;

July 30 at 17:00 – Distance finals
