Kazan will host the football festival "We are in the game. Summer"
Tatarstan for the second summer in a row becomes a participant of the RFU Football Festival for girls "We are in the game. Summer", which this year unites all federal districts of the country. The festival takes place during the summer holidays — from June 1 to August 29 in turn in 32 cities of Russia — from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin.
The sports event will take place in the Republican capital on August 18 at 10 on the field of the stadium "Labor Reserves" at the address: 7 Nikolay Ershov Street, Kazan.
Become a participant of the festival "We are in the game. Summer" can be any girl aged 7 to 12 years, regardless of sports training and ball playing skills. The main thing is the desire to play football. A specially designed program will allow everyone — even within the framework of a one—day training session - to show their strengths, work out a number of football techniques and feel like part of the team.
All sports meetings will be held under the supervision of professional football coaches who will show in practice what team-group interaction is and teach basic techniques. At the end of each event, the participants will hold a football match at one of the stadiums of their city under the coaching guidance.
To take part in the festival, you need to register on the website. Friends and parents are invited to cheer for young football players in the stands. Participation in the event is free of charge.
The Russian Football Union is holding a festival "We are in the game. Summer" in partnership with the football clubs of the RPL, Super League and FNL for the second summer in a row. Last year, 23 festivals were held in 21 cities of Russia. More than 2500 girls from 7 to 12 years old took part in them. This season, the geography of the project has significantly expanded and now covers all federal districts of Russia.
Maria Suchkova, Head of the RFU Women's Football Department: "At the RFU, we pay great attention to attracting girls to football from an early age, providing them with playing and competitive practice. We develop special techniques, design new tournaments, and create programs
engagements. The festival "We are in the game. Summer" is one of such programs. It allows any girl, regardless of physical fitness, to try herself in football. Among other things, this program is aimed at helping academies attract new football players and building a vertical of their training."
The event is attended by clubs of the RPL, Super League, FNL, as well as football players and football players of the national teams of Russia. And this means that every girl can personally meet and communicate with her favorite athletes.
