Rustam Minnikhanov meets Emir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

On January 22, speaking at a meeting with Emir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Your country is an important and reliable partner of Russia in the Middle East region. At its level, Tatarstan tries to strengthen Russian-Qatari relations”.

In his turn, the Emir of Qatar confirmed his country’s interest in strengthening economic ties with the regions of Russia, namely with Tatarstan.
