Tatarstan President visits Russia Halal Expo exhibition

On May 10, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Russia Halal Expo exhibition, organized on the sidelines of the 10th International Economic Summit “Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit”. Halal lifestyle is the key issue of this summit.

Russia Halal Expo is aimed at popularizing Halal industry in Russia, showing the potential of the halal segment of the Russian economy and providing opportunities for products presentation to potential buyers and trade partners.

Over 80  exhibitors from Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan exhibited their products and services.

The exposition was divided into separate topical areas: food, pharmacy, cosmetics, jewelry, clothes, children's toys and books and other goods.

After visiting the exhibition, Minnikhanov held a working meeting with the speakers of the KazanSummit plenary session.
