Rustam Minnikhanov meets Consul General of Kazakhstan in Kazan Zhanbolat Murzalin
On August 6, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Consul General of Kazakhstan in Kazan Zhanbolat Murzalin.
Minnikhanov congratulated Murzalin on taking office of Consul General and expressed his confidence in strengthening cooperation as part of Russia-Kazakhstan relations.
Tatarstan President noted that Tatarstan along with Kazakhstan is focusing on the innovative development and strengthening processing branches of industry. We should use the opportunities in industry, agriculture, but it is also important to develop contacts in the field of culture, science, education, tourism and sports, Minnikhanov said.
“In two weeks, the opening of the WorldSkills Championship will take place in Kazan. We hope that the high-level Kazakhstan delegation will participate in this event, ” Tatarstan President said.
In his turn, the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Kazan thanked the leadership of the republic for trust, support and joint work aimed at strengthening cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.
Murzalin was appointed the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan in July 2019. Previously, he served as Adviser to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation.
Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other officials took part in the meeting.
