Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin hands in the 2019 Arbuzov Award in the field of organophosphorus chemistry

On October 21, at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony to hand in the 2019 International Arbuzov Award in the field of organophosphorus chemistry.

On behalf of Tatarstan President and the Government of republic, Pesoshin welcomed all participants of the ceremony. “For more than 20 years, this award has been the only one in the field of organophosphorus chemistry in the world and remains one of the most prestigious and status awards,” he emphasized and reminded that Kazan is the city where organic chemistry of Russia was originated.

The 2019 Arbuzov Award in the field of organophosphorus chemistry was given to Chairman of the Kazan Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences Oleg Sinyashin. 

“Your achievements are the result of painstaking and hard work, scientific research and tireless exploratory activity. We are proud of your success and contribution to the development of modern science. From the bottom of my heart I wish you and all those gatheredd good health, inexhaustible energy, creative longevity, new ideas and outstanding achievements," he said, addressing Sinyashin.
