Rustam Minnikhanov to take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos

During his working visit to Switzerland, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The Russian delegation will be headed by Acting Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin.

Minnikhanov plans to attend a number of thematic sections to discuss issues of consumption, the future of the digital economy, challenges of the energy sector and how to shape the future of cities and urban services.

Tatarstan President will also hold several meetings with senior executives of such companies as Schneider Electric, Total and Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited. Moreover, Minnikhanov will discuss issues of cooperation with President of the National University of Singapore Tan Eng Chye.

The 50th WEF in Davos will be held from January 21-24. It is expected that the prestigious conference will bring together more than 3,000 participants, including country leaders, representatives of major companies, public figures, politicians and scientists. The business programme includes 400 sessions. The forum will focus on ecology, economics, industry and other topics.
