Tatarstan President arrives on a working visit in New York
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a two-day working visit to the United States of America (New York) on the 2nd of February, 2020.
The business programme of the visit includes a visit to the United Nations (UN) and meetings with the UN Secretary General António Guterres, as well as with Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN and the UN Security Council Vasily Nebenzya.
Moreover, a presentation of the report “Russia's Regions and the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN” will be held at the UN headquarters.
Minnikhanov will also attend a round table with representatives of American business with the participation of the American-Russian Business Council and the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, where he will deliver a welcoming speech.
It is expected that Tatarstan President will give an interview to the Russian Service of the UN News.
Today, immediately upon his arrival, Minnikhanov headed to meet members of the Association of American Tatars.
