On November 25, an online ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Kazan Federal University (KFU) and the National Human Resources Development Institute of the Ministry of Human Resources of Korea (NHI) was held under the auspices of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Russian-Korean diplomatic relations.
Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov, President of the NHI Park Chun-ran and Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov welcomed the ceremony participants.
According to Safarov, the establishment of cooperation between NHI and KFU opens up many opportunities for mutual creative development in the professional training for the system of state administration of our republic and will contribute to strengthening Russian-Korean diplomatic relations. The development of bilateral relations will also contribute to maintaining economic relations and cooperating in social and other spheres.
In his speech, Gafurov emphasized that Tatarstan and Kazan Federal University, is actively involved in international activities. Intergovernmental interest in the development of cooperation between the University and NHI is primarily associated with the process of digitalization of public administration and the use of progressive teaching methods in human resource development. Being a leader in this area, Korea will become a key educational partner for Tatarstan.
Summing up the results of the ceremony, the parties expressed their hope that the memorandum will become a fundamental basis for the successful implementation of specific agreements and projects.
