On February 2, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin chaired the meeting on the preparation for the Kazan Digital Week International Forum - 2021.
In his opening speech, Pesoshin emphasized that in 2020 the forum showed its relevance and attractiveness. Thus, 10,500 people from Russia and 64 foreign countries took part in 60 different programme events, 28,000 people from 74 countries watched the forum, and over 100,000 exhibitors took part in the virtual exhibition. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, members of the Russian Government, governors, heads of the largest IT companies - participants of the Eurasian market of high technologies and high-tech products approved the idea of the forum.
The Kazan Digital Week Forum was decided to be held annually.
In 2021, the Forum will be held on September 21-24 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre in a mixed format (online and offline). Director of Road Safety State Budgetary Institution, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee Rifkat Minnikhanov reported on the preparations for the forum in detail.
The main directions of the Kazan Digital Week International Forum - 2021 are intelligent transport systems, situational centres, digital industry 4.0, fintech ecosystem, cybersecurity of the new era and digital technologies integrated into education, culture and health care.
