On 19 August, upon his arrival on a working trip to Hungary, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was met by the Minister of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office Gergely Gulyás and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Hungary Yevgeniy Stanislavov in the Budapest International Airport.
On 15 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Consul General of China in Kazan Xiong Bo took part in a meeting of the organization committee on preparation and holding the International forum ”ROSTKI: Russia and China – mutually beneficial cooperation” held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic.
Tatarstan for the second summer in a row becomes a participant of the RFU Football Festival for girls "We are in the game. Summer", which this year unites all federal districts of the country. The festival takes place during the summer holidays — from June 1 to August 29 in turn in 32 cities of Russia — from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin.

On 25 July in the evening, upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport the President of Senegal Macky Sall, who came on a working visit to Tatarstan, was met by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, the Aid to the Rais Gazinur Bakirov, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Kazan Radik Vakhitov and Plenipotentiary of Senegal to the Russian Federation Jean-Baptiste Thiathie Tine.
From July 25 to July 30, Kazan will be the arena for an exciting competition - the final stage of the Russian Swimming Cup. The strongest swimmers from various regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus will come together in the pool of the Palace of Water Sports to compete for the main trophy – the crystal cup.
