On September 25, Kazan hosted the main cycling race of the Republic of Tatarstan - Tour de Tatarstan Kazan 2021. It was held for the third time, more than 500 participants from 26 regions of Russia registered for it.

The Russian Championship will be held among men and women born in 2002 and older at 3 distances:
-BMX-freestyle park (or mixed park);
-BMX-freestyle flat;
-BMX-race rhythm track.
On August 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Kazakhstan, was met by Prime Minister of Kazakhastan Askar Mamin at Nur-Sultan International Airport.
From August 16 to 20, Kazan will host the open the European championship in mixed martial arts (MMA). 252 athletes (164 adults and 88 juniors) from 14 countries, such as Armenia, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Tajikistan and Estonia will take part in the tournament, which will be held at the BSS Basket Hall. This is the first post-pandemic tournament of the United International Mixed Martial Arts Federation on the Continent.
The Republic of Tatarstan together with the International Institute for the Development of Competitiveness and Clusters TCI Network is holding the XXIV TCI Global Conference.
The event will be held in Kazan on September 15-17, 2021.
Kazan will be the first city in Russia and the EEU to host an event of this kind.
