On March 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov and other officials were informed about projects to be implemented in Innopolis during their visit to a number of sites for construction of new facilities in the IT city, including a hotel complex, a multi-apartment housing and a new cultural and leisure centre.

On March 5, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yury Borisov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting with large industrial enterprises of the republic on fostering economic growth.

It was noted during the meeting that in his May decree Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a number of key tasks, including accelerating the pace of economic growth, expanding non-oil exports, and turning Russia into a top-5 world economy.

On March 2, at Pyramid complex in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired the 14th extended meeting of the Tatarstan Presidential Council on entrepreneurship.

Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, heads of regional ministries and authorities and over 200 representatives of the business community took part in the event.

On February 26, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior managers of Turkish Karba Otomotive Company discussed prospects for cooperation.

The company has been on the market for about 30 years and has been producing truck chassis-based superstructures for firefighting vehicles, garbage trucks, hydraulic lifting platforms, ambulances, special vehicles, etc. The company exports to 45 countries.

On February 20, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Charge d'affaires ad interim of the State of Israel to the Russian Federation Yacov Livne, who is on a working visit in Tatarstan, discussed issues of further development and strengthening of relations between Israel and Tatarstan as one of the Russian entities.

On February 18, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of the Finnish Kaukointernational Company.

Minnikhanov already met senior executives of the Finnish company in November 2019. Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the Vodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise and Kaukointernational was signed.
